FRIDA KAHLO.COM

Frida Kahlo (1907-1954), Mexican Painter.
From 1926 until her death, the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo created striking, often shocking, images that reflected her turbulent life. Kahlo was one of four daughters born to a Hungarian-Jewish father and a mother of Spanish and Mexican Indian descent, in the Mexico City suburb of Coyoacán.
She did not originally plan to become an artist. A polio survivor, at 15 Kahlo entered the premedical program at the National Preparatory School in Mexico City. However, this training ended three years later when Kahlo was gravely hurt in a bus accident. She spent over a year in bed, recovering from fractures of her back, collarbone, and ribs, as well as a shattered pelvis and shoulder and foot injuries. Despite more than 30 subsequent operations, Kahlo spent the rest of her life in constant pain, finally succumbing to related complications at age 47.

Rob Pattinson -OBSESSSSS

Never thought he was remotely attractive, UNTIL I watched the movie TWILIGHT. NOW I am officially a teenybopper who went out and bought every book in the series and looks forward to getting an ounce of free time to kill crushing on EDWARD CULLEN - My boss at work even went to the trouble of cutting out a huge pic of his face in the last GQ and laminating it so that I can day dream as I work. Wait, did I just share that with you??????
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland 2010

Those who have grown curiouser and curiouser about what the offbeat reinventor of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory might conjure up in his version of Alice in Wonderland can feast their eyes on this array of concept art and publicity images, due to hang in movie theaters this week to promote the March 5, 2010, release.
"It has been Burton-ized" is how producer Richard Zanuck describes the director's vision of the Lewis Carroll classic. Many elements are familiar, from the enigmatic Caterpillar (Alan Rickman) to the fierce Jabberwock (Christopher Lee). But none has been presented in this sort of visually surreal fashion.

FIRE AND ICE
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

everyone has a someone
You've probably gone too far
Like the voice that cried
On the lonesome tide
Like the wave was
the only love it ever saw
